unit 1: seashells in Longmont
What story have we all been born into?
We will explore the forces that give rise to everything we see on the surface of our planet. We will use local geologic features and things we can find on the ground to help explain various events that have shaped our history and the rock we were all born onto.
unit 2: A flood and a fire
How is life connected to the flow of water on our planet?
We will explore the forces that influence the movement of water on our planet. We will focus specifically on examining and explaining how hydrologic patterns and events and our relationship to water impact landscapes and communities on Earth.
